22MAR24

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. 17 An when they saw him they worshipped him, but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:16-20 (ESV)
We worship THE God that has all authority in heaven and on earth. We are called in the Great Commission to go forth and make disciples of all nations.
How do we do this?
It starts with bearing fruit of the Spirit. Our actions and the words we speak must be a reflection of Christ within us, but we must also be willing to unapologetically speak on our salvation in Jesus Christ.
Some individuals are called to missions around the world, while others are meant to make an impact exactly where they are planted, but our actions and the way in which we live our lives should look different than that of the world, creating inroads to others, so that we may be able to talk to them about our Savior Jesus Christ.
Prayer: Dear Lord, you hold all authority in heaven and on earth. Thank you for your sacrifice, so that through You, I am able to have everlasting life. Give me the strength to live my life in away that reflects this truth that I know, so that I may make disciples in Your name. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
