16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:16
As life goes on it is inevitable that will begin to slow down. We will age, more wrinkles will form, and we will not be as good as we once were. Although we will be weathered by the physical world we live in, spiritually we are being sanctified by Christ each day. It is important to remember that the world is not our home. Our eternal bodies will be greater than anything we could ever imagine, but in the meantime we can smile as we age, because each day we are becoming more and more like Christ.
Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for renewing us every day. Although the things of this world will fade, our eternal home with you is secure. Help us to cherish every day as we grow in our knowledge of You. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
