10 For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God?Or am I trying to please man?If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Are you seeking validation or approval from your peers?

Are you seeking approval from the world?

Here in Galatians we get a much needed reminder. It states “If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. Once we are in Christ the only approval we need is from the Lord God almighty. We are not meant to be approved of by the world.

22 Everyone who believes has God’s approval through faith in Jesus Christ.

Romans 3:22 (ESV)

Romans gives us a perfect example of the only approval that matters. When we put our faith is Jesus Christ we have the approval of God.

In a world that is predicated on self fulfillment and the approval of others, live for the approval of God.

Prayer: Dear Lord thank you for your word. Thank you for the reassurance that you are the only approval we need. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
