12 Who has measured the water in the hollow of his hand and marked off the heavens with a span, enclose the dust of the earth in a measure and weighed the mountains in scales and the hills in a balance?

Isaiah 40:12 (ESV)

The above verse describes the massive nature of our God and our Creator. The creator who measured the waters in his hands. Think about the vast expanse of our oceans. As someone who is in the Navy I may be able to appreciate this more than others, but we all know how vast our waters are. Our God measured them in his hand.

We cannot fathom this type of greatness. But the good news is the same God that created our streams, trees, and birds, created you. He created you, He knows you by name, He loves you, and he sent his son to die for our sins.

Prayer: Dear Lord, we cannot fully fathom your greatness and might, but we stand in awe of your glory and might. Thank you for knowing us by name and sending your Son so that we may have everlasting life. In Jesus name I pray, amen.
