Plenty of big things happened this week in the worlds of music and movies, so as you stand in line at the polls today, check out my favorite stories of last week below ↓
Panic! At The Disco celebrates EMA win
Panic! At The Disco brought home a win at the 2018 MTV Europe Music Awards for Best Alternative, defeating fellow nominees Fall Out Boy, The 1975, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and Twenty One Pilots.
“All I should say is thank you,” said Panic! frontman Brendon Urie.
Panic! Also performed their latest single “High Hopes” at the awards show which was held in Spain this year.
In true Brendon fashion, he concluded with “This is going in my bathroom,” referring to the award. This is why we love him.
Twenty One Pilots in BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge
Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots kicked off November’s Live Lounge Month at BBC Radio 1, delivering beautiful acoustic performances, a cover, and a great interview at Columbus, Ohio’s Newport Music Hall.
Joseph covered “9 Crimes” by Damien Rice in addition to performing stripped down, piano renditions of “My Blood”, “Ride” and “Neon Gravestones.”
Twenty One Pilots is currently touring across the world on 2018-19’s Bandito Tour (which I thankfully got to see last Friday, and will get to see again next June.)
In addition to the great music that Tyler provided this week, he also stopped the entire Clique in their tracks with this one photo at DC’s Bandito show ↓
